Overview
- Construction is underway in Chihuahua, Estado de México, Hidalgo, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Tamaulipas and Yucatán, according to the Education Ministry.
- The effort draws more than 1,215 million pesos for the CBTIS buildout within a 2,500 million peso package for broader educational works.
- SEP says INIFED and the Infrastructure, Communications and Transport Ministry supervise the works with processes designed to ensure transparency and safety.
- The new campuses will offer programs aligned with science and technology, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, electromobility, nanotechnology, e‑commerce and software development.
- SEP will also convert 35 secondary schools to evening operation to expand capacity in urban areas and underserved communities.
