  • Since October, Mexico’s federal forces have arrested nearly 1,500 suspects in Sinaloa, seized over 3,000 firearms representing more than 20% of national confiscations, dismantled 91 clandestine labs and intercepted 53 tonnes of narcotics.
  • Security officials report that fractured Sinaloa Cartel factions known as Los Chapitos and Los Mayos have lost the capacity to mount armed convoys or exert previous levels of territorial control.
