Overview
- President Claudia Sheinbaum said the first stage of the project will open in November and confirmed work with Guatemala to extend the corridor into Central America.
- Semar reported Line K’s rehabilitation at about 87.7% overall, with tramo 1 near completion in October and a full line finish projected around June 2026.
- ‘El Tehuanito’ suburban service is slated to begin in December with two low‑cost routes between Ubero–Ixtepec and Unión Hidalgo–Salina Cruz across 189 km.
- Lines Z and FA are in service and have moved 134,903 passengers and 889,920 tonnes of cargo since launching in December 2023 and September 2024.
