Overview
- The Comisión Federal de Electricidad completed the program’s first phase with 5,140 residential photovoltaic systems installed in Mexicali and San Felipe between March 2025 and May 2026.
- CFE data show beneficiary households have seen bill cuts of up to 85% in summer, up to 45% in winter, and about 60% on average annually from the installed systems.
