Overview
- More than 3,300 naval personnel are deployed across Veracruz, Puebla, San Luis Potosí and Hidalgo to evacuate residents, provide medical care, deliver supplies and reopen access routes.
- In Veracruz’s Poza Rica and Álamo, authorities report 2,988 people assisted, 187 medical attentions, 647 transfers to shelters and 24 routes restored.
- Operations in Huauchinango, Puebla total 535 people aided and 85 medical attentions, with 13 routes cleared, 585 obstructions removed, 10 heavy machines in use and over seven tonnes of debris taken away.
- In Tamazunchale, San Luis Potosí, 127 people have been assisted with 10 medical attentions and six routes reopened, and personnel are now working in Metztitlán, Hidalgo to support cleanup in isolated communities.
- Logistics are scaling up with the ARM Guanajuato sailing from Dos Bocas to Tuxpan carrying 83 responders, four mobile kitchens now serving daily meals, and shipments moving 2,500 food parcels and 20,000 liters of water to Tuxpan and 1,500 parcels and 12,000 liters to Huauchinango.
