Mexican journalist Luis Martín Sánchez Iñíguez found murdered in Nayarit

Mexican journalist Luis Martín Sánchez Iñíguez, who worked for La Jornada newspaper, was found dead with signs of violence in the state of Nayarit.
He had been missing since Wednesday and his body was found on the outskirts of the city of Tepic.
The cause of his death is unclear, but authorities believe it happened 24 to 48 hours prior to the discovery.
Two other potential crimes against media workers are being investigated in Nayarit, including the disappearance of Osiris Maldonado and the illegal detention of journalist Jonathan Lora Ramirez.
Mexico is known for being a dangerous country for journalists, with press-related killings increasing under President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
