Overview

• The commemoration will take place on Aug. 15 when the Mets host the Seattle Mariners at Citi Field.
• A 6:15 p.m. performance by the Beatles tribute band 1964 the Tribute will open the evening in front of the Shea Bridge walkway.
• The first 15,000 fans through the gates will receive an exclusive replica of Shea Stadium.
• Original Shea Stadium gameday staff who worked the 1965 concert will throw out the ceremonial first pitches.
• A fireworks display choreographed to Beatles music will cap off the celebration after the game.
