  • The Mets recalled 23-year-old infielder Luisangel Acuña from Triple-A Syracuse ahead of Thursday’s doubleheader in Baltimore.
  • Outfielder Travis Jankowski was designated for assignment to clear space while right-hander Austin Warren was summoned as the 27th man for the split admission games.
  • In 12 games since his June 23 demotion, Acuña posted a .289 batting average with a .724 OPS, nine runs scored, four RBIs and four stolen bases.
