Manaea was the Mets' top starter in 2024, posting a 12-6 record with a 3.47 ERA and leading the team to the NLCS.
The deal includes deferred payments of approximately $23 million, matching the contract signed by Nathan Eovaldi with the Texas Rangers.
Manaea joins a restructured rotation alongside new signings Frankie Montas, Clay Holmes, and Griffin Canning, as well as holdovers Kodai Senga and David Peterson.
Mets owner Steve Cohen has committed over $916 million to free agents this offseason, including a record $765 million deal for slugger Juan Soto.
