Mets induct four into Hall of Fame, honor team executive
- Howard Johnson and Al Leiter inducted into New York Mets Hall of Fame.
- Johnson ranked third in Mets history with 202 stolen bases, fourth in homers (192) and RBIs (629).
- Leiter grew up a Mets fan, pitched for the team from 1998-2004, ranked sixth in wins (95) and starts (213) and eighth in strikeouts (1,106).
- Broadcasters Gary Cohen and Howie Rose also inducted into 2023 Hall of Fame class.
- Media relations executive Jay Horwitz received Mets Hall of Fame Achievement Award.
