Mets Acquire Pitcher Yohan Ramirez from White Sox

The 28-year-old right-hander, with a career record of 6-4 and a 3.99 ERA, joins the Mets' bullpen for next season.

Yohan Ramirez, a right-handed pitcher, has been acquired by the New York Mets from the Chicago White Sox for $100,000.
Ramirez, 28, had a 4.23 ERA in 31 games last season for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the White Sox.
He was designated for assignment on Dec. 13 by the White Sox to open a roster spot for right-hander Erick Fedde.
Ramirez has a career record of 6-4 with six saves and a 3.99 ERA in four seasons with Seattle, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and the White Sox.
The Mets have added Ramirez to their 40-man roster as part of their bullpen options for next season.
