Overview
- Emergency officials reported the blaze was extinguished at 23:43 on Friday, and Metrovalencia restored service between l'Alcúdia and Castelló at 3:27 on Saturday after catenary and cable repairs.

- The fire ignited at 15:11 in an uncultivated area near the N-340/A-7 and spread to a scrapyard, damaging about a dozen vehicles and equipment and igniting tyres that produced thick black smoke.
- The Consorcio Provincial de Bomberos deployed five fire crews, BRIFO brigades, forest units and five aerial assets, bringing the incident under control around 20:49–20:50 with an overnight guard left on scene and heavy machinery planned for debris removal.
- Smoke and ash were detected in nearby towns such as Alzira, and authorities said the cause remains under investigation with a discarded cigarette not ruled out.
