Metro Awakening VR to Launch on November 7 for PSVR2, Meta Quest, and Steam VR

The highly anticipated VR prequel to Metro 2033, featuring a new storyline by Dmitry Glukhovsky, was revealed at Sony's State of Play.

Metro Awakening VR is set in 2028 and follows Serdar, a doctor searching for his missing wife in the mutant-ridden tunnels of post-apocalyptic Moscow.
The game serves as a standalone prequel to Metro 2033 and explores the origin story of Khan, a pivotal character in the Metro universe.
Developed by Games and published by Deep Silver, the game promises an immersive VR experience with intuitive mechanics and atmospheric horror.
Pre-orders are available for both Standard and Deluxe Editions, with the latter offering 48-hour Early Access and exclusive in-game items.
Metro Awakening will be available on PSVR2, Meta Quest, Steam VR, and Viveport, with the Deluxe Edition releasing on November 7 for all platforms except Viveport.
