• Metallica will perform a full-volume afternoon electric set for 250 fans at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, Long Island, on August 28 to launch their new SiriusXM channel.
• Maximum Metallica debuts at 12 p.m. ET on August 29 on SiriusXM channel 42 and the SiriusXM app with hits, deep cuts and exclusive interviews.
• A recording of the August 28 performance will premiere on Maximum Metallica on September 1 at 12 p.m. ET with replays throughout the week and on Howard Stern’s Howard 101 channel on September 5 at 7 p.m.
• Fans can enter a sweepstakes through August 20 for round-trip airfare, a Hertz car rental, a two-night hotel stay and two tickets to the exclusive show.
• The channel will be available for free in all SiriusXM-equipped vehicles throughout September.
