Studio369, the developer behind the Ethereum action game MetalCore, has raised $5 million in new funding to launch the game on the Immutable zkEVM scaling network.
MetalCore is set to launch in open beta in May, offering a mix of mech suit combat and boots-on-the-ground shooting action, with plans to also launch its token around the same time.
The funding round includes prominent participants such as Bitkraft Ventures, Delphi Digital, Sanctor Capital, and Spartan Group, following a $15 million round in 2022.
MetalCore aims to integrate a dynamic mission system powered by AI, offering unique missions for players and endless content variety.
After the open beta launch, MetalCore plans to add a large-scale territory control metagame experience and deeply integrate crypto gaming guilds.
