Overview

  • The verification process launched on June 26 and is slated to reach all eligible securities and investment advertisers by July 28
  • Full compliance enforcement begins July 31, after which unverified advertisers risk having their campaigns paused
  • Advertisers are required to submit the beneficiary’s name and SEBI registration number or complete business or identity checks if exempt
  • Verified advertiser details will appear on running ads and remain accessible in Meta’s Ad Library for up to seven years
  • Ads published before July 31 will not need retroactive updates provided the advertiser account is verified
