- Meta will split its AI division into two units: a consumer-focused AI Products team led by Connor Hayes and an AGI Foundations team co-headed by Ahmad Al-Dahle and Amir Frenkel.
- The AI Products team will develop Meta’s AI assistant and embed smart features across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and its standalone AI Studio app.
