Overview
- Meta has made Muse Spark 1.1 available in a public-preview Model API for U.S. developers so they can test prompts, compare outputs, and build prototypes.
- The company published token-based pricing for the API at $1.25 per million input tokens and $4.25 per million output tokens and granted new registrants a $20 credit for trial use.
- Meta says Muse Spark 1.1 is its strongest model for real-world coding and AI-agent tasks, with multimodal ability to read text, images and video, call external tools, and perform multi-step workflows with less human intervention.
- Muse Spark 1.1 is already live in Meta AI's Thinking mode on app and web interfaces and Meta plans to phase it in to replace Llama-based assistants on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and its smart glasses.
- The release continues work from Meta's Superintelligence effort and arrives alongside other generative-AI updates such as the Muse Image model, signaling a coordinated product and commercial push into the model market.
