Meta One Launches Global Subscriptions for Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp

Meta aims to sell expanded Muse-powered image and video AI access through paid creator and business tools to generate recurring revenue.

Overview

  • Meta launched Meta One globally on Tuesday with single-app Plus plans, Core and Premium bundles for individuals, and multi-level creator and business subscriptions.
  • The company gave regional prices and said single-app plans start at about $2.99–$3.99, Core is $7.99 and Premium is $19.99 in the U.S., and reported more than 15 million subscriptions and trials so far.
  • Paid tiers raise limits on Meta AI usage so subscribers can generate and edit more images and videos with Muse models and use in-app tools such as Instagram’s Restyle and voice effects.
  • Creator and business packages add professional features including verified badges, enhanced profiles, story scheduling, exportable analytics, automatic follow invitations, and greater access to Meta Business Agent for customer messaging.
  • Meta frames the launch as a way to monetize heavy AI investments without putting core, free app experiences behind a paywall and plans to expand Meta One to products like Edits and AI glasses over time.
