Meta Launches $8 Monthly Subscription for Virtual Reality Games

Meta announced a new subscription service, Meta Quest+, offering two new virtual reality games per month for $7.99.
The service is available for the Quest 2, Quest Pro and the upcoming Quest 3, with subscribers keeping access to games as long as they stay subscribed.
The first two games offered are Pistol Whip and Pixel Ripped 1995, with two more coming in August.
Meta is offering the first month for $1 for those who sign up before July 31.
The move aims to generate recurring revenue for Meta's Reality Labs unit as the company cuts prices and introduces new VR products.
