Meta Debuts $799 Ray-Ban Display Glasses With In-Lens HUD and Neural Wristband

The launch signals Meta’s next step toward an AI-first wearable platform.

  • The glasses go on sale in the U.S. on Sept. 30 and connect to a phone over Bluetooth rather than operating as a standalone device.
  • A right-eye color heads-up display surfaces notifications, directions, live captions and translations, images, and video calls inside the lens.
  • Control is handled by the bundled Meta Neural Band, an sEMG wristband that reads subtle gestures for navigation, volume, zoom, and air-typing or handwriting.
