• On the second anniversary of the crash, the Serious Collision Investigation Unit issued a fresh call for witnesses.
• Police say a black Mercedes reportedly overtook a bus before striking a parked van by the Iron Bridge bus stop on Uxbridge Road at about 5:50am on October 15, 2023.
• Jaroslaw Jadwidzic, 46, who was working at the bus stop, was critically injured and died in hospital on October 24, 2023.
• The vehicle’s driver and a passenger left the scene before officers arrived; three men were arrested in 2023, with one released with no further action and two released under investigation.
