  • Lionel Messi announced the inaugural tournament on Oct. 14, confirming South Florida as the host for Dec. 9–14, 2025.
  • Eight U-16 club sides are confirmed: Inter Miami, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, River Plate, Inter Milan, Newell’s Old Boys, Atlético Madrid, and Chelsea.
  • Teams will be split into two groups of four for a round-robin stage before playoffs and placement games.
  • The third-place match and final will be staged at Inter Miami’s Chase Stadium, the main venue for the event.
