Lionel Messi's Inter Miami and Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr are set to compete in the Riyadh Season Cup in Saudi Arabia in February.
The tournament, which also includes Neymar's Al-Hilal, is part of Saudi Arabia's push to become a major player in world soccer.
Despite the announcement, Inter Miami has stated that its preseason schedule, including participation in the Riyadh Season Cup, has not been finalized.
Both Messi and Ronaldo, considered two of the greatest players of all time, have left European soccer but continue to compete at a high level.
The Riyadh Season Cup will be held in the first week of February at Kingdom Arena, with the exact schedule yet to be announced.
