Overview
- The scheme was launched after a series of fatal shootings in August 2022 and became one of the first Home Office-funded Clear, Hold, Build initiatives.
- Merseyside Police report a 300% rise in community-sourced intelligence across its four operational areas.
- Officers have made over 5,300 arrests and seized roughly 630kg of Class A and B drugs.
- Authorities have also confiscated more than 260 offensive weapons, 28 firearms and about £2.5m in cash and assets.
- The force plans to reinvest seized assets into local projects and partner-led sessions, including community events run by Everton in the Community and the LFC Foundation.
