Mermaid Performer Attacked by Giant Fish in Chinese Aquarium

The performer, a 22-year-old Russian woman named Masha, was dressed as a mermaid when the fish attacked her during a live show.
Masha suffered injuries to her head, neck, and eye, and the fish reportedly ripped off her goggles and nose clips during the attack.
Despite her injuries, Masha claimed she was forced back into the water to continue performing and was later offered only $96 in compensation.
The incident was captured on video, went viral on social media, and raised concerns about safety and working conditions for performers at the aquarium.
