MercedesMaybach Unveils S 680 V12 Edition Limited to 50 Cars

The special honors Maybach’s V12 heritage through intensive Manufaktur craftsmanship with gold accents.

  • Built on the near‑fully equipped S 680, the edition retains the 5,980 cc biturbo V12 with 450 kW (612 PS) and 900 Nm for a claimed 0–100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds and a 250 km/h limiter.
  • Deliveries begin in autumn 2025 for selected markets, with Mercedes withholding allocation details and pricing.
  • The exterior features a two‑tone Manufaktur finish in Oliv metallic over Obsidianschwarz metallic with a Hightechsilber pinstripe, plus 5‑hole forged wheels in Manufaktur Oliv.
  • A C‑pillar medallion carries a ‘12’ motif with a 24‑karat gold ring and inlay, while the paint process can take up to ten working days.
  • The cabin pairs saddle‑brown Nappa leather with high‑gloss burr walnut, adds gold intarsia that can require up to seven working days, includes an “1 von 50” plaque, Robbe & Berking silvered flutes, and features such as comfort rear doors, active noise compensation, rear‑axle steering, E‑Active Body Control and MBUX with up to five screens; for reference, the regular S 680 lists around €270k–€290k in Germany.
