Overview
- Mercedes has introduced the CLA Shooting Brake EQ as its inaugural fully electric station wagon, riding on the newly developed modular MMA architecture.
- The model arrives with two powertrain setups: a 200 kW rear-wheel-drive variant and a 260 kW all-wheel-drive version.
- Both configurations draw from an 85 kWh battery pack for up to 761 kilometres of WLTP range and support DC charging at 320 kW plus AC charging at 22 kW.
- Extending the roofline boosts cargo capacity to 455–1 290 litres and adds a 101-litre frunk, while towing capacity reaches up to 1.8 tonnes.
- The interior mirrors the CLA sedan’s layout with an optional MBUX Superscreen and a panoramic glass roof that illuminates with 158 integrated star lights before its March 2026 launch.
