  • Mercedes brought the Vision V concept to Monterey Car Week for its first U.S. preview, highlighting its chauffeur-centric luxury focus.
  • The rear passenger area features a 65-inch retractable flatscreen, a 42-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system and seven projectors for an immersive environment.
  • Underpinning the concept is the modular VAN.EA platform with an 800-volt architecture, low-mounted battery pack, rear-wheel steering, front-wheel drive and optional e-4MATIC drive plus a NACS port for U.S. charging.
  • A 168-cell solar roof delivers up to 539 watts and averages 2.08 kWh per day, roughly eight miles of range under WLTP consumption figures.
  • Mercedes confirmed the production variants will be named VLE and VLS, with concept elements like chrome-finish 24-inch wheels expected to be refined for the 2026 European launch.
