Mercedes F1 Team Undergoes Technical Restructuring With Allison Returning as Director

James Allison has returned to his former role of technical director at Mercedes.
Mike Elliott will now serve as chief technical officer full time after leading a review of Mercedes' technical organization.
The changes come as Mercedes looks to regain competitiveness after a difficult start to the 2022 season.
Mercedes won seven straight constructors' championships from 2014 to 2020 with Allison previously serving as technical director.
The team is currently third in the standings, 67 points behind leaders Red Bull.
