F1 Mercedes Boss Shows Interest in Premier League Despite Allegiance to Manchester City; Wolff Considers Joint Investment with Sir Jim Ratcliffe Following His £1.35bn Acquisition of Manchester United Stake

Mercedes F1 team principal and co-owner, Toto Wolff, is considering investing in Manchester United alongside Sir Jim Ratcliffe, with Ratcliffe's acquisition of a 25% stake in the club expected to be finalized later this month.
Wolff has an estimated net worth of £1.3 billion and is open to the potential investment, respecting Ratcliffe's values and expressing trust in his judgment. This comes despite Wolff's known support for rival club, Manchester City.
Ratcliffe, already co-owner of Mercedes F1 team with Wolff and Mercedes-Benz chairman Ola Kallenius, is looking to inject £245 million of his own money into Manchester United upon the completion of his stake acquisition.
There's speculation that seven-time champion and Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton, might also get involved in the bid. Hamilton, who has previously made sports investments, will continue with Mercedes until at least 2025 after agreeing on a new two-year deal worth an estimated £100 million.
Despite Wolff's interest and friendship with Ratcliffe, he has stated his admiration for Manchester City's manager Pep Guardiola, causing some to question how these allegiances might impact his potential investment in Manchester United.
