Overview
- Two electric variants launch first: GLB 250+ RWD with an 85kWh pack (200kW, 0–100km/h in 7.4s, 542–631km claimed range) and GLB 350+ 4Matic (260kW, 5.5s, 521–614km).
- A 60mm longer wheelbase (now 2889mm) increases second- and third-row space, with an optional seven-seat layout that can accommodate adults up to 5ft 6in in the rearmost seats.
- DC charging peaks at 320kW on the 800V system with a claim of about 260km added in 10 minutes, and some markets using 400V public chargers may need an optional DC converter.
- The optional MBUX Superscreen spans the dash with a 10.25-inch driver display and twin 14-inch touchscreens, adding Microsoft and Google AI features and an upgraded ‘Hey Mercedes’ assistant using ChatGPT and Gemini.
- ICE and mild-hybrid GLBs arrive next year alongside a lower-cost EV with a 58kWh battery, V2L will be enabled via over-the-air update, EVs carry a ‘with EQ Technology’ suffix, Germany pricing starts at €59,048, and Australia sales begin in Q4 2026 with local pricing to come.
