• New HYC1000 hardware will be deployed at Mercedes-Benz charging parks in Europe and North America, with each charging point delivering up to 600 kW at 800 volts.
• The system places up to 1,000 kW of power in external cabinets operating at 800 amps, enabling dynamic power sharing across multiple dispensers and scalable site designs.
• Mercedes-Benz and Alpitronic are designing a dedicated ultra‑high‑power charger informed by a recent benchmark exceeding 1 megawatt using a single 1,000‑amp CCS cable.
• The network includes about 80 hubs across Germany, the United States, China, Austria and Japan, with plans to add hubs in up to eight more countries within a year and surpass 10,000 fast‑charging points by the end of the decade.
• Locations are open to all EV brands, while Mercedes drivers receive MB. CHARGE Public features such as automatic route planning and charging‑spot reservations in select regions.
