Overview
- Powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six diesel with a 48V mild-hybrid ISG, the G 450d delivers about 362–367 bhp and 750 Nm via a 9-speed automatic and 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
- Mercedes claims a 0–100 km/h time of 5.8 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h.
- The SUV retains core G-Class hardware including a ladder-frame chassis, three mechanical differential locks, 241 mm ground clearance and up to 700 mm fording depth (31/26/30° approach/breakover/departure).
- Cabin tech includes dual 12.3-inch displays running MBUX NTG7 with augmented reality navigation and a Transparent Hood view, a Burmester system with Dolby Atmos and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
- The launch completes the G-Class lineup in India with diesel, petrol and electric options, placing the G 450d roughly Rs 20 lakh below the G 580 and well above the Land Rover Defender 110 diesel in price.
