Overview

• The CLA is Mercedes’ first model offered solely as a battery-electric vehicle and rides on a new modular platform engineered for both electric and petrol powertrains.
• Advanced aerodynamic features including radiator shutters, retractable door handles and a full underbody tray help the sedan achieve up to 484 miles of WLTP range.
• An 800-volt architecture enables 320 kW DC charging, though first-production cars will require a spring 2026 software update to support older 400-volt chargers.
• The cabin debuts the MBUX 4 infotainment system with AI co-developed by Google and Microsoft, displayed on a 14-inch central touchscreen.
• Mercedes will expand the lineup in March 2026 with an all-electric CLA Shooting Brake offering up to 470 miles of WLTP range, a 260 kW drivetrain and towing capacity.
