Overview
- Mercedes-Benz has confirmed the all-electric CLA Shooting Brake will enter the market in March 2026 following its formal specification unveiling
- Built on the unified 800-volt MMA platform, the Shooting Brake launches in CLA 250+ RWD (200 kW) and CLA 350 4MATIC AWD (260 kW) variants with WLTP ranges of up to 761 km and 730 km respectively
- Charging capabilities match the sedan with 22 kW AC and 320 kW DC support for a 10–80% recharge in 22 minutes, and a spring 2026 DC-DC converter will enable fast charging on both 400 V and 800 V networks
- The stationary-wagon body style delivers 455–1 290 litres of cargo space plus a 101-litre frunk, accommodates roof loads up to 75 kg and tows up to 1 500 kg in the 250+ or 1 800 kg in the 350 4MATIC
- Customer feedback prompted the return of haptic steering-wheel switches, while additional battery-electric CLA variants are due early next year and a Geely-sourced mild-hybrid powertrain joins the lineup mid-2026
