Overview

  • The electric CLA uses an 85 kWh battery and 800-volt system with a two-speed gearbox for optimized efficiency and real-world range.
  • Its 320 kW rapid-charging capability can replenish up to 192 miles of range in just ten minutes.
  • The MBUX 4 Superscreen integrates Google and Microsoft AI for conversational voice control, advanced route planning and digital assistance.
  • Early EV CLA units lack compatibility with older 400 V chargers, but Mercedes will provide a software or hardware update for pre-2026 models by spring.
  • Mercedes will introduce petrol-hybrid CLA variants later this year and launch an all-electric Shooting Brake estate in Europe in March 2026.
