Overview
- Mercedes is preparing summer deliveries of the all-electric CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4MATIC with 24/7 production at its Untertürkheim plant to address robust order volumes in European markets.
- Both models run on the new MMA platform’s 800-volt architecture and 85-kWh battery to support up to 320 kW DC charging that can add over 300 km of range in about ten minutes.
- A two-gear permanent-magnet drive on the rear axle yields up to 93 percent energy conversion and WLTP ranges of up to 792 km in the CLA 250+, while the 350 4MATIC adds a front motor for all-wheel traction.
- The MB.OS infotainment system uses a smartphone-inspired Zero Layer interface and centralized computing to enable deeper and faster over-the-air software updates.
- With prices starting near €56 000 for rear-drive and €60 000 for all-wheel-drive, the CLA balances competitive long-range performance against compromises in rear-seat space and paves the way for AMG, hybrid and body-style variants in 2026.
