Overview

  • Mercedes-AMG revealed the Concept AMG GT XX as a four-door fastback preview of its first series-production model on the AMG.EA platform, slated for 2026 alongside a higher-riding SUV sibling.
  • Three in-house axial flux motors deliver a combined 1,341 horsepower to an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system, enabling a projected top speed of 223 mph.
  • A bespoke NCMA battery pack with direct oil cooling sits within an 800-volt architecture to support over 850 kW DC fast charging that adds 400 km of WLTP range in around five minutes.
  • Advanced aerodynamics yield a drag coefficient of 0.198 through active aero wheels, multi-stage grille louvers and an optimized underbody design.
  • The cockpit employs sustainable Labfiber biotech leather and silk alternatives while electroluminescent MBUX Fluid Light Paint and a programmable rear light panel communicate vehicle status.
