• Detectives posed as minors on social media during a multi-day operation targeting adults seeking sexual contact with children under 14.
• After allegedly acknowledging the decoys’ ages, the men used sexually explicit language, arranged meetups in Menlo Park, and were arrested when they arrived; one allegedly sent graphic photos.
• Police identified those arrested as Arunkumar Kizhakke Unnikrishnan, 45, of Mountain View; Yony Trochez-Marinez, 33, of San Jose; and Jefferson Aldair Martinez Hernandez, 26, of Oakland.
• All face suspicion of attempted lewd acts with a child under 14, contacting a minor with intent to commit a sex crime, and arranging to meet a minor; Hernandez also faces a count of distributing harmful matter to a minor.
