Menem Circle Secures Third State IT Contract Through Osprera Intervention

The IT firm co-owned by Sergio Aguirre continues to receive multi-million-peso monthly payments for system upgrades under the interventor installed on Lule Menem’s recommendation.

Overview

  • Osprera has been under federal intervention since August 2024 to tackle a monthly deficit that has fallen from ARS 5 billion to about ARS 2.3 billion.
  • Htech Innovation was founded in April 2024 by Sergio Andrés Aguirre and was contracted first for an audit of Osprera’s systems before winning ongoing modernization and chatbot development work.
  • Invoices verified by multiple outlets show Htech has received more than ARS 150 million since November 2024 and bills roughly ARS 16–19.8 million each month.
  • Marcelo Carlos Petroni assumed the interventor role after stepping in for Virginia Montero, following a recommendation from Eduardo “Lule” Menem to the Superintendence of Health Services.
  • This engagement marks the third direct state contract awarded to firms linked to Martín Menem’s circle under President Javier Milei, following deals with Tech Security and Global Protection Service.
