Overview
- Guaymallén will unify directions on Acceso Este laterals from Feb. 9, sending the north lateral east-to-west and the south lateral west-to-east between Arturo González and the Nudo Vial.
- Parking will be banned on both laterals between Hilario Cuadros–Cañadita Alegre and La Purísima–Curupaytí for the duration of the works, with a municipal web simulator available to plan routes.
- The 11.6 km Guaymallén section adds a third lane per direction from Arturo González to the Sarmiento bridge and creates three underpass connections linking Rosario–Houssay, Avellaneda–Azcuénaga, and Urquiza North–South.
- Provincial officials opened bid envelopes for Maipú segments of Acceso Este and scheduled the Guaymallén opening, receiving seven proposals from 14 firms for a project budgeted at ARS 70,500 million (about USD 50.3 million).
- Provisional bid terms for Acceso Sur detail a two-stage plan: a third lane and new bridges from Juan José Paso to Azcuénaga, then resurfacing to Variante Palmira, with a total cost near USD 90 million and timelines of 24 and 12 months.
