Mendoza Selects Local Team to Create Vendimia 2026 Identity for Festival’s 90th Anniversary

A multi-sector jury chose the winners from 37 submissions under formal oversight, awarding ARS 6,000,000 for the branding work.

  • The Government of Mendoza named Luz Carrizo, Jonatan Quiroga and Rita Carrizo as winners of the contest to design the official visual identity for the 2026 Vendimia.
  • All three winners are from Tunuyán and have training across graphic design, visual arts and audiovisual production.
  • Their proposal, reported as “Mate” by Los Andes and “Matea” by Diario Uno, will represent the festival in Argentina and abroad across the vendimial calendar.
  • The jury reached a majority decision on October 3 after evaluating 37 entries, with oversight by government notary María Viviana Bruno.
  • Two projects received honorable mentions by order of merit: “Violeto” first and “Vendimiador” second.
