Memphis Man Convicted of Murdering Wife During Fiji Honeymoon

Bradley Robert Dawson, 40, was convicted by a Fiji court for the 2022 murder of his wife, Christe Chen, during their honeymoon at the exclusive Turtle Island resort.
Chen, 36, was found in the couple's bungalow with multiple blunt force injuries after the pair was heard arguing the night before her death.
Dawson fled the scene by kayak to a nearby island, carrying his passport and belongings, which the court interpreted as an intent to escape.
The judge ruled there was no reasonable doubt of Dawson's guilt, and he now faces a mandatory life sentence, with a minimum term to be determined in January.
Chen, a Memphis pharmacist and former pastry chef, had married Dawson earlier in 2022; her remains were cremated due to the severity of her injuries.
