Melbourne Underworld Figure Sam Abdulrahim Killed in Targeted Ambush

The former boxer and gangland figure, who survived multiple assassination attempts, was fatally shot in a meticulously planned attack at a Preston apartment complex.

Sam Abdulrahim, also known as 'The Punisher,' was shot dead on Tuesday in the underground car park of a serviced apartment in Preston, Melbourne.
The attack was carried out by a suspected four-person hit team who fled the scene in a stolen Porsche, later found burnt out, with police recovering a second getaway vehicle used in the escape.
Abdulrahim, 32, had been the target of numerous violent attacks over the years, including shootings, firebombings, and a $1 million bounty placed on his head by underworld rivals.
