Overview
- Third-tranche clearances on Jan. 2 cover proposals with projected output of ₹2.58 lakh crore, taking total ECMS approvals to 46 projects.
- The ministry estimates 33,791 direct jobs from this round, with some reports indicating nearly 37,000 total positions.
- Approvals span 11 target segments across core components, sub-assemblies and upstream materials, including PCBs, capacitors, camera and display modules, and aluminium extrusion.
