• Mehcad Brooks will not return for Law & Order’s 25th season after three years as Detective Jalen Shaw.
• Brooks’s departure was mutually agreed with the creative team as he shifts focus to projects such as HBO Max’s And Just Like That and the upcoming film Mortal Kombat II.
• Production has begun casting a new detective to join the core ensemble.
• Hugh Dancy, Maura Tierney, Odelya Halevi, Reid Scott and Tony Goldwyn are all confirmed to reprise their roles in the milestone season.
