McCain responded to Navarro on social media, stating she has never been accused of a crime and has never 'influenced peddled' in her life. She also suggested she will explore legal action over the comment.
McCain has previously criticized 'The View' in multiple interviews, personal essays, and on her podcast since leaving the show in late 2021.
The ongoing dispute between 'The View' hosts and McCain reached a new milestone earlier this month when Sara Haines suggested on a podcast that a certain former co-host made the panelists 'uncomfortable,' leading to speculation that she was referring to McCain.
