The town of Porreres on Mallorca claims the logo for Meghan Markle's rebranded lifestyle company, 'As Ever,' is nearly identical to its municipal crest.
Both the logo and the town's emblem feature a palm tree flanked by two birds, though the birds in the logo are reportedly kolibris, not swallows as in the original crest.
Porreres' mayor, Xisca Mora, has called on Meghan to withdraw the logo but ruled out legal action due to the high cost and complexity of pursuing a case against a high-profile figure.
The mayor speculated that Meghan may have encountered the emblem during a visit to the island and incorporated it into her branding.
