- Remley died on Dec. 18 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head outside the Princess Pub & Grille in Little Italy, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
- Witnesses reported she fired a shot into the air before turning the gun on herself, and newly published video shows responders performing CPR at the scene.
- She pleaded guilty in December 2023 to solicitation to commit murder in a sheriff’s sting targeting her estranged husband and received a three-year, eight-month state prison sentence.
- Sheriff’s officials say the probe began after a 2023 house fire at the couple’s Del Mar property, and that she met an undercover officer with firearms, cash and detailed instructions for the killing.
